We are looking to hire an IT Business Systems Manager located in Amherst, NY.
This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:
This position will lead and oversee all IT-related services and investments needed to support the Watson Bowman Acme Corp. (WBA) business located in Amherst, NY. This role will ensure the proper functioning of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and all other IT systems used at WBA. This role will act as a liaison between all third-party ERP support vendors that support both the software applications and infrastructure environments which serve the WBA business equipment for the ERP System. This position will work directly with local ERP Business Process Leads by coordinating and supporting system changes required to meet WBA business objectives. This position will also assist and provide guidance for day-to-day IT problem troubleshooting and resolution. Additionally, this position will work with corporate personnel supporting Corporate IT initiatives/projects implemented at WBA through understanding and determining how best to execute the initiatives for the business.
These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience providing senior-level ERP / SAP or SAP Business One leadership, planning and functional support.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT management role, with experience in budgeting, project planning and execution, staff management, and liaising with senior management (business and IT).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with 3rd party outsourcing firms and ERP consulting organizations.
- Proven experience collaborating with multiple business functions, while influencing and recommending improvements without direct authority over the involved parties.
- Previous experience performing business process analysis and business process improvements within ERP Systems; assessing business needs, providing guidance/alternatives, and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to lead & direct multiple ongoing projects simultaneously while maintaining strong team relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Administration, Supply Chain, Inventory, Production, Financials within an ERP
- SAP/SAP Business One experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts, possibilities, and limitations to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with SQL programming and Crystal Reports.
- Lean Six-Sigma experience a plus.
- Understanding of ISO requirements / methodologies a plus.
- Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
