We are looking to hire a Bulk Chemical Load Planner to work and support the Canadian region from our corporate office located in Beachwood, Ohio.

This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us.

Primary responsibility is to use load planning software (Ortec Inventory Routing) and other tools, and reports, along with available assets and resources to plan bulk chemical orders on bulk liquid tankers/ trucks for multi-stop, multi-compartment loads. The loads must be efficient, within established metrics, and meet target customer requests and run-out dates.

Essential Functions

• Use freight optimization program to build truckloads of material and communicate plans with plants and terminals
• Work closely with field personnel, customer service, internal teams, and other external teams to navigate issues impacting planning, delivery, or customers sales orders
• Be the point person for Canadian Bulk Admixture carriers alongside your supervisor
• Schedule and coordinate specialized load types as well as product transfer and customer returns
• Take lead on meetings as assigned for the geography covered as well as backing up as needed for the team
• Provide vacation coverage and assistance for the team as needed

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role

• College degree desirable; high school or equivalent required
• Being or becoming proficient in SAP, Ortec Inventory Routing, and/or bulk chemical fleet management or scheduling software experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving ability, accuracy, attention to detail, and a high level of quality work are required for success
• Computer proficiency as well as skills in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel are critical
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a diverse environment and maintain a professional, customer-focused mindset under pressure and conflicting demands
• Must be willing to work M-F, 40-45 hours with some flexibility, typical hours 7:45 am – 4:45 pm EST
