We are looking to hire a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager at our Beachwood, OH location.
This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us.
This position is responsible for developing, administering, and maintaining the Quality Management System, Non-Conformance Management System and Continuous Improvement processes within the North American Admixture Systems business, comprised of 17 sites in North America.

- Develop and implement processes to achieve compliance with ISO 9001
- Reviews, revises, and maintains protocol and documentation pertaining to the RBU ISO:9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Leads the RBU ISO:9001 efforts in all aspects, including the areas of nonconformance management and corrective/preventive action programs.
- Conducts annual Senior Management Review for ISO program and follows-up with action plans.
- Measure and analyzes trend, verifies effectiveness, and manages quality activities to continually improve and ensure effective use of SAP QM module Non-Conformance Management, Cost of Poor Quality, and related quality objectives.
- Maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems related to Non-Conformance.
- Train, support, and educate users in the NCM process. Assist with coordination, preparation, and maintenance of compliance between internal and external quality audits. Takes an active role to resolve issues.
- Work with the Site Leadership Team to establish quality and continuous improvement goals and objectives. Supports and provides input into the Site’s quality programs.
- Ensure resources and systems are in place to effectively measure and analyze quality trends. Measures and analyzes trends to continually improve product quality in manufacturing and service to our customers.
- Work across the top levels of the organization to implement initiatives needed to drive quality and continuous improvement.
- Communicate systems, capabilities, and philosophies to all levels of the organization, and customers. Present updates to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Develop quality system KPI metrics, identifying what quality systems need to be improved or implemented, training personnel, communicating across the organization, and ensuring customer feedback is acted upon.
- Interact daily with the manufacturing plants, business segments, R&D, and Customer Care Center on quality related programs, procedures, training, and metrics.
- Audit manufacturing sites, suppliers, and tollers when necessary to ensure quality of raw materials and manufactured products for the business meet set standards. Regularly interfaces with suppliers and tollers, when needed to address specific complaints, products, procedures, and/or corrective actions.
- Provide continuous improvement solutions for minimizing the impacts of environmental processes (including waste minimization)
- Conduct data analysis and process audits in the areas of inventory control, process waste, production optimization/OEE to discover and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead investigations into administrative and process upsets that cause significant impact to profitability. Implement procedure and system automation to prevent reoccurrence.
- Coach and develop existing and new personnel (salaried and hourly) into high performance teams.
- Establishes quality metrics to track and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicates with key customers in the business to promote quality and to address nonconformances and corrective actions.
- The incumbent has daily interaction with site quality labs, business segments, CCC, and R&D personnel related to ongoing project work, training programs, data collection and/or customer feedback.
- Interfaces with external customers when needed on specific customer complaints, requested technical information, quality product review meetings or other technical related issues related to products.
