We are looking to hire a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler at our Brighton, CO location
This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us
The primary role of the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, machine time and manpower. This position will lead and facilitate change to maintenance systems such as planning and scheduling methods, job, and technical procedures, managing risks by metrics and assisting the maintenance manager in developing the skills associates assigned to the area.
This position is responsible for improving the overall effectiveness of the maintenance department through planning and scheduling of all maintenance work performed in the area that is assigned. Maintain liaison and coordination between the operation and maintenance organizations; maintains appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results or work done.

- Mechanical/electrical background necessary and tech school background desired
- Knowledge to estimate man hours and materials to visualize the job to be performed
- Oral/written communication skills.
- Administrative and mathematical skills.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, and Word (SAP preferred)
- Planning and organizational skills
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent. MBS recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with optimization of spare parts inventory.
- Build and maintain Bill of Materials (BoMs).
- Identify jobs that require Management of Change (MOC).
- Assist in the preparation and participate in both internal and external audits.
- Assure compliance with site/plant mechanical integrity, preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Complete job plans to ensure the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance work this includes:
- Detailed work scope
- Job step sequence
- Skill requirements
- Outsourcing for specialty contractors or skills requirements
- Labor estimate and plan
- External resources and parts
- Special tools or equipment
- Identify and provide repair procedures as required (technical documents)
- Administrative Tasks as assigned.
- Wear all required PPE including air purifying respirators.
- Participate in PSSRs, Incident Investigations, and EHS Action Items.
- Obtain a forklift and pallet jack license through Master Builders Solutions.
- Complete all assigned safety training as required and follow all site safety guidelines and procedures.
