Job Summary

 

Lead the business segment strategically in Philippines for the Construction Systems(CS) Segment, consisting of Waterproofing, Sealants, Grouts & Concrete Repair Systems.
Develop and implement the Master Builders Solutions Brand as well as positioning it in the respective segment.
Develop and roll the country segment strategies out for Philippines, which consists of the definition of market trends & key market initiatives, analysis/generation of new potential market, develop key strategic customer and propose solutions to serve them better, in alignment with ASEAN Strategic directives.
All objectives in order to develop, support and drive the strategy to be implemented by sales team to achieve the agreed sales volume, sales value and profitability objectives as approved by MD & GSM.
Lead and drive the Construction Systems product segment strategy which consists of product portfolio, product positioning/launches, pricing and profitability targets.
Establish Key Account (KAM) relationships to achieve 5 year strategy targets.
In addition, this role provides inputs and participates in the market planning and technical development of products and services and supports the specification team as industry and product expert.

Responsibilities

 

Product Segment Strategy
Develop and drive CS Segment of Waterproofing and Sealants/Ucrete Systems to meet business financial objectives.
Implement the segment and drive the implementation plans, including but not limited to sales, marketing, communication, operations, supply chain, finance, R&D and technical departments); act as the key contact for the above-mentioned parties.
Coach and mentor the sales/technical teams and assist to achieve the budgeted sales and profitability objectives.
Lead and monitor Key Account (KAM) activities with the sales team, KAM team and New business development team.
Actively develop and manage relationships with key strategic customers with coordination from Sales Manager, Technical Specifications Team, Area Manager, RBU and GKAM.
Lead and direct the pricing strategy based on consideration of profitability, volume growth, product positioning and market willingness to pay.

 

Business Development
Lead and pro-actively develop the potential BU initiatives to maximize construction chemicals potential in identified industry sector.
Pro-actively establish strategic partnerships with channel partners to increase brand and market access.

 

Market Intelligence
Lead market research to monitor the market condition to determine the sales potential, product portfolio and the sales strategy and actively share this information with the relevant parties.
Analyse products, prices and activities of competitors in the market.
Establish market needs and “voice of customer” data to support new product development, marketing activities and business initiatives.
Conduct SWOT-Analyses regularly in order to recommend a sales strategy and action plan. Product Application and Development
Drive new product application & product development for key target projects in conjunction/ coordination with Philippines management & direction
Provide technical guidance / assistance to customer for product applications, including optimization, troubleshooting, and training of personnel to enhance pre- and post- sales services.
Interface sales/marketing personnel and technical service laboratory/ product training to understand and apply production/application techniques to enhance business opportunities via product applications, meet customer expectations and solve technical problems.
Developing/evaluating product applications, defining marketability, modifications and termination of ineffective products.
Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices and share with the sales/marketing personnel.

 

Product Management
Lead product localization and related investment needs to maximize business growth in alignment with RBU regional core portfolio for Industrial sectors and global strategic portfolio

Experience

 

Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Working Experience: Min 10 Years in Construction Industry with min 5 years in the Segment of Waterproofing and Sealants

Technical & Professional Knowledge: Technically Competent with Professional & Business Skills in MNC Environment
