Job Summary

To ensure that MBS’s current and future product portfolio is managed and continually reviewed to maintain its leadership position and profitability.
To continuously monitor implementation of segment strategy and suggest / develop appropriate strategies to improve profit margins. The incumbent will also have input into segment mid to long term strategies. 
Manage new product launches for the segment and all required marketing documentation to ensure sales and technical staff in Industrial flooring can achieve sales targets
Continually monitor macro-economic data, product information and make recommendations to improve sales and business excellence.

Responsibilities

To support in ensuring premium positioning of Ucrete systems and aggressive growth in A-EBA markets
Drive Ucrete product line business performance:  Develop, maintain and continuously improve business plan to deliver accelerated growth and defined profitability for the Ucrete product portfolios.
Define portfolio in line Global offerings, brand management, value propositions, strategic positioning, supporting marketing activities, and product line growth plans with country / local business management, that are aligned with MBS Global Strategy.
Map and drive Key Customer Plans across A-EBA for existing and high potential Ucrete system opportunities including specifiers and owners.
Create sales/profitability growth targets in line with regional business and budget process for the Ucrete Product line.
Cooperate with Cluster segment Managers to Define regional pricing strategy and provide guidance on pricing trends in cooperation with local marketing, for local implementation and positioning.  Will only engage proactively in price adjustments if there is a strategic deviation from expectations.
Participate in global Ucrete product management, business plans and innovation  as assigned.
Support local sales teams through New Ucrete variants introduction and product tool box.
Lead and manage localization process and contribute to the launch roll-out of products and segment programs
Leverage importance of Ucrete Competency Centre as the central hub for Ucrete systems sales, marketing, competitive benchmarking and training initiatives – external and internal for A- EBA and look at opportunity to create other hubs in A-EBA.
Assist Country Sales Managers with portfolio training ideas and goals for the local sales and marketing teams, as well as applicator partners and customers. 
Work closely with cluster sales and marketing personnel, to create competition price-performance-value positioning map for Ucrete to ensure achieving market leadership position.
Communicate  Ucrete Systems Product Line growth plans through local Product Management, Customer Acquisition, Key Account and Sales Management cooperation. 
Participate on the CS Business Management Team.
Maintain control of the budgeted corporate expenses within area of responsibility.
Maintain direct contact with major customers, defined as Key Accounts and follow up with Clusters on Key Opportunity Mapping, as agreed with by local business management in support of strategy to implementation.
Provide the CS Business Team with a continuous overview of business results, market trends, competitive challenges, economic indicators that will affect the performance of the Ucrete Business growth in the company. 
Interface with all departments within MBS to resolve issues of service, product availability, service for the company’s customers and assist local management in cross country communications and resolutions where required on behalf of cross-country cooperation.
Must understand and follow all quality initiatives and processes for ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and other ISO regulations, procedures and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.

Experience


Min 8 years of Product Management across the broad Performance Flooring segment portfolios, with a special focus on Ucrete Product Line Growth.  Strong background in sales and marketing preferred with technical acumen on flooring systems. 

 

Technical & Professional Knowledge


Strong depth of knowledge, of the performance flooring industry specific to Food & Beverage industry and in depth understanding of the value chain is required.
Capable of leading a team of indirect reports (Manage by influence and impact – collaborate for achievement).  
Ability to deal with customer problems (internal and external) and understands how the Food & Beverage industryworks. 
Strong understanding of Value Chain, value drivers and how products and systems are sold into end user markets; Understands market positioning, price margin management and brand development. 
Relevant experience with business and market analysis, launch plan development and implementation.  
Connect / Networking with Specifiers, Distributors, Contractors, Developers, Applicators and Owners.

Track record of success in implementing growth plans in current or past roles. Demonstrated track record of success, in developing and leading cross functional teams, to target objectives.
