Job Summary

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Production Operator (for Admixture) – to help us with growing construction chemical requirements within the Philippines archipelago.  

Master Builders Solutions currently supplying construction chemicals for ready mix concrete, precast concrete and other admixture system products. The Production Operator will be part of plant operation where you can expand your knowledge not only in production but also in warehousing, safety transportation and other plant operation activities that would support and be mentored by existing plant head.

Responsibilities

What The Position Entails

Training in production operation procedures, EHS, Trade Control, concrete technologies including admixtures will be delivered through the following routes:

1.    Pragmatically    mentorship-based training
2.    Online        through MBS’s dedicated training academy 

Working 5-days a week, and reporting to Plant Head, you will:

•    Operate the equipment based on production standards and schedule, operating forklift, preparation and mixing of raw materials, perform sampling of products, packing and cleaning of equipment
•    Monitor equipment panel control and message from equipment notification, identify abnormal findings, and address basic equipment issues. Escalate equipment issues to Production Head as needed for appropriate resolution
•    Keep production area safe and production activities efficient by strictly complying with statutory and company Environment, Health and Safety standards and policies
•    Coordinate with production head the raw material requirements and finished goods produced to determine appropriate levels before proceeding to production.
•    Complete shipments by processing and loading/unloading orders.
•    Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; placing orders in delivery area.

Experience

What You Will Need for This Position

To succeed in this role, you will have, or be able to demonstrate:
•    Graduate of any technical course or has completed 2 years of college
•    With at least 1 year of related work experience as machine operator 
•    Can operate/drive forklift truck
•    Should possess adequate fitness and stamina as they will have lifting activities to perform their duties
•    Computer literate


It will also be beneficial if you have 

•    Communication – production operators need to be able to clearly explain problems or give instructions to others involved in keeping operations running smoothly 
•    Attention to details – maintaining a good focus enables hearing a machine making a “wrong” sound or noticing that the quality of the finished item isn’t up to par
•    Independence – being able to perform the job with minimal supervision
