We are looking to hire a Territory Sales Manager for our Wall Systems Division to support the Florida market.

The primary responsibility is to grow the Wall Systems territory and develop and maintain a high value business relationship with distributors, contractors, panel shops and the design community. In addition, you will be expected to maintain local market knowledge, establish market potential and market share to develop sales strategy.


Key Deliverables:

  • Product sales – consistent delivery of territory sales target
  • Architectural sales - dominant territory project and office master specification position
  • Planning - Sales Operating Plan (SOP) development
  • Teamwork - with peers / Sector Managers / Customer Service / Supply Chain & other functions
  • Be a living ambassador for the Master Builders Solutions brand


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete, maintain and execute a comprehensive SOP to deliver sales target
  • Developing, maintaining, and optimizing territory distribution position
  • Project selling utilizing Salesforce
  • Forecasting of product demand
  • Manage pricing for the territory to maximize profitability (volume and margin)
  • Continuously develop contractor network and relationships to establish a primary supply position
  • Develop, maintain relationships and presence with design professionals to maximize project specification penetration
  • Facilitate the solution of design and application issues / problems for customers.
  • Support Industry Sector Managers by executing sector strategies and providing voice of customer and competitive market information
  • Assist in product development by arranging and supervising product field trials.
  • Product complaint and project claim investigation and resolution
  • Managing territory to the expense budget
  • Constantly “sharpening the saw”; continually developing technical knowledge and professional selling skills to be viewed as a Trusted Advisor
  • Follow all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ) policies
  • Notifies supervisor before undertaking work activity in which he/she is not adequately trained


These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar discipline
    • More of 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 5 years of experience doing similar type of work
  • Sales experience based on quality
  • Experience in sales forecasting
  • Experience in price management
  • Understanding voice of the customer
  • Experience using sales related technologies, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
