Your role
The job holder will be part of the Global Procurement organization located in Mannheim/Germany. The core team consists of strategic buyers that manage the Global and European procurement activities for Direct Materials. You will report into the Global Head Direct Materials and function as one of the main sparring partners for the strategic buyers as well as for other functions such as Supply Chain, Finance and others.
Your tasks
- PR/PO process in SAP for the Direct Spend including Frame Contract creation, tracking and maintenance
- Vendor Data Management (tickets, vendor’s creation, user training etc)
- Master Data Management (material master creation, changes, user training)
- Maintaining raw material price lists & price maintenance SAP
- Workcycle Management – Manage price deviations and function as interface towards Accounting and production sites
- Complaint Management
- Electronic contract management – Function as Process Owner within Direct Spend (e.g Contracts, etc.)
- Support various Procurement projects and monthly reporting
Education & Skills
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training
- Strong working experience in Procurement environment with special focus on Raw Materials (ideally 3 years +)
- Strong experience in SAP MM (minimum 3 years)
- Experience in working with different stakeholders (Procurement, Business) in an international business environment (minimum 2 years)
- Enhanced skills in using tools like SAP, PowerPoint, Excel and other databases ( e.g EDWH)
- Fluent in English and German, additional language advantageous
- Strong interpersonal/ cross-cultural understanding
