Job Summary
Our Global concrete laboratory works on developing new technologies and solutions for the construction industry and is part of the Global Development Team, located in Trostberg, Germany.
Responsibilities

Responsible for the concrete- and mortar-laboratory as well as the mechanical testing laboratory, with the goal to create a platform for new developments in the area of concrete and construction in close cooperation with the global Research Team and R&D on site

Disciplinary and professional leadership of a team with eight employees

Responsible for the acquisition, approval and management of funding/budget for relevant R&D-Projects

Leadership/project management of selected R&D-Projects

Responsible for the know-how transfer between the global development and other functions and locations

Participation in customer events and demonstration of new developments and technologies
Experience
-
Master Degree / PhD in civil engineering and/or other related science degree, e.g. Chemistry

Ideally some years of experience in the development of new concrete technologies

Profound concrete mix design optimization know how
-
Ideally experience in the production of precast and/or RMX concrete
-
Experience in project management, Six Sigma belt desirable

Adept handling of application-technical test methods in construction
-
Knowledge about international standards e.g. DIN, EN, ASTM etc.

Experience in managing and leading a team and/or a laboratory is preferred

Teamplayer and excellent presentation skills

Excellent communication skills in English and good language skills in German

MS-Office skills
