Job Summary

Obejctives of the position
To support EB CS Philippines sales team in the specification and promotion of the Master Builders Solutions brand. Providing incremental sales on a month on month basis. Providing market data and analysis of construction information and trends, as well as maintaining a sustainable relationship with key customers in order to grow the business


Main Areas of Responsibility
1.    Managing the sales and promotion of EB CS/Master Builders Solution brand in the market
a.    Promoting the brand along the industry value chain
b.    Achieve agreed sales targets
c.    Plan tactical approach towards competition
d.    Development of innovative solutions (products and service combination)
e.    Preparation and implementation of technical presentation/seminars along the industry value chain
f.    Proactively develop and consult customer-driven innovations and ideas with focus on sustainability and problem solving
g.    Ensure availability of promo materials for client’s appreciation and good relation building
h.    Develop and implement marketing plans/activities in the area of responsibility (includes exhibits, testing of materials and other marketing programs necessary)

2.    Follow on construction project leads for EB CS 
a.    Identify and attract new clients (applicators/project owners/key influencers) that will lead in attaining a sustainable sales growth
b.    Pursue new products from EB portfolio with corresponding process of the potential customer
c.    Providing updates to the status of projects 
d.    Influence decision makers on all levels and implement sales and marketing plans respectively for all clients

3.    Provide and report construction market overview and analysis to Manager
a.    Develop market intelligence as leverage in pursuing market growth and market penetration
b.    Utilize product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of entire customer and market value chain to anticipate market trends
c.    Continuously increase market intelligence and update customer data and competitor’s activities

4.    Identifying stakeholders in construction industry and maintain a close business relationship with relevant/critical stakeholders
a.    Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationship with respective account to promote brand value
b.    Identify customer requirement and offer solutions accordingly, both for direct and indirect customers
c.    Develop trusting customer relationship that ensure access to growth opportunity
d.    Establish a sustainable relationship with customer base and market influencers to understand customer’s needs and strategic interest
e.    Develop lasting customer relationships to identify business trends in and beyond the customer scope or respective portfolio

5.    Internal coordination
a.    Coordinate with superiors for information and knowledge needed
b.    Coordinate with sales and technical team EB BASF Philippines 
c.    Coordinate with other BASF colleagues in BPI for cross business collaboration
d.    Coordinate with other BPI departments for operational procedures and collaborations (HR, EHS, Finance, Supply chain and Production)


-    Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering/ any 4 years course

Working Experience
-    At least 2 years of relevant work experience in sales & specification in the construction industry

Technical & Professional Knowledge
-    Construction system product portfolio such as waterproofing Concrete repair/grouting and flooring
-    Problem-solving and decision-making
-    Project management
-    Driving with valid license
