We are looking to hire a Machine Operator to service the Ames, IA

This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you fill for us.

• Works with various raw materials in the manufacture of products.
• Responsible for following specific instructions outlining designated quantities to be used and production times required.
• Operates various equipment in the manufacture of products; operates forklift to load and/or unload raw materials and finished products.
• Also, coordinates manufacturing efforts and conducts quality control initiatives.

Requires up to six months on the job training to learn manufacturing process/procedures, packaging of finished products according to specifications, storing of raw materials and finished products, prepare routine paperwork required and any special projects or unusual aspects of the job. and

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role.

· One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.

· Requires a high school diploma or equivalent

· The ability to understand and follow all written manufacturing work orders

· Able to interpret oral instructions, read various measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations.

· Be able to wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensures that prescribed safeguards are properly used.
